What UT Onboarding does

UT Onboarding is a staff onboarding and compliance platform built for adult social care. It is a WordPress plugin that our team installs and configures directly on your site, so there is no code to write and no setup guide to follow. UT Onboarding is a trading name of Unique Tenders Limited, company number 14962399.

Why we built it

We are a tender writing and compliance company that has worked alongside care providers across the UK for years, and the same problem kept appearing. Small and medium providers care about their staff, their service users and their CQC rating, but the compliance side of growing a business is relentless. Contracts need signing, DBS checks need chasing, training records need updating and policies need acknowledging. Most of it lands on a registered manager who is already covering shifts. We built one system that handles everything a new starter needs before they walk through the door, so a registered manager can onboard a new carer from start to finish without a back office team.

What it tracks

DBS certificates, right to work checks and references are verified, stored securely and flagged automatically when they expire. The dashboard shows each new starter against employment contract, DBS check, mandatory training modules and policy acknowledgement, so you can see who is complete and who is outstanding without opening a spreadsheet.

How installation works

• Get in touch. Fill in the contact form or call us. Tell us what services you run, how many staff you are looking to onboard and what your current process looks like. No commitment at this stage.
• Free consultation. We walk through how UT Onboarding fits your setup, covering the contracts you use, the training your staff need and what CQC expects to see.
• We install and configure. Our team installs the plugin, activates a licence key tied to your domain, and loads your contracts, policies, training modules and compliance checklists. Typically under 60 minutes, with every module tested before handover.
• Training and handover. A live walkthrough by screen share or on site covers adding new starters, tracking DBS checks, assigning training, sending contracts for digital signing and monitoring progress. Support continues afterwards.
