What Care Pathway Pro does

Care Pathway Pro is a web application for adult social care providers. It brings care recording, medication administration, risk assessment, safeguarding, outcomes and staff training into one system, with data held in line with GDPR and access controlled by role.

Recording care

Daily care recording captures activities, observations, incidents and vital signs. Templates can be adapted to your service, and entries are visible to the wider team as they are made.

Medication

Electronic medication administration records track administration as it happens and keep a full audit trail. The system raises automatic alerts for missed doses, and handles PRN medication alongside scheduled rounds.

Risk and safeguarding

Risk assessment is structured across 14 domains, including falls, medication, nutrition and mobility, with review dates scheduled automatically and control measures set for the individual rather than the setting. Safeguarding runs through a Designated Safeguarding Lead investigation system that supports multi-agency coordination, tracks Section 42 enquiries and keeps an audit trail for serious concerns.

Outcomes

Goal tracking uses Goal Attainment Scaling and SMART frameworks, with progress monitored across 14 life domains so that outcomes can be evidenced rather than asserted.

Staff training and competency

Competency tracking covers mandatory and specialist training. Qualifications are recorded, renewal alerts are raised automatically, and the resulting records form compliance evidence for CQC.

How it is delivered

Care Pathway Pro is provided as software as a service, so there is nothing to install locally. Data storage meets GDPR requirements, and role based access controls determine what each member of staff can see. A free trial is available without a card.

Alongside the platform, the site publishes articles on care sector policy, funding and compliance practice for providers who want to keep track of regulatory change.
