UT Training

UT Training is our online training platform for registered managers and nominated individuals in adult social care. It is built for people stepping into either role for the first time, and for those who need to refresh their knowledge before a CQC interview or inspection.

Why we built it

We have worked alongside more than 135 registered managers. That work showed us what trips people up, what CQC looks for when it visits a service, and which questions come up again and again. Every module is shaped by those conversations, the feedback we have received and the patterns we have seen across dozens of services.

What the courses cover

Our courses focus on the practical side of the role. They cover your statutory responsibilities, leading a team, running a compliant service and having the right systems in place. The aim is simple. If your service were inspected tomorrow, you should understand your role well enough to work towards a good or outstanding rating.

Our first course, Being a Registered Manager, runs across 8 lessons and around 6 hours. It explains your legal position, core duties, values, team leadership and how CQC assesses services. Courses are checked against current law and CQC guidance.

Plans

You can create a free account and take free courses as they launch, each with a marked assignment and certificate. Premium costs £349.99 a year and gives you every course, including new ones as they are added. It renews once a year on the same date, and you can cancel at any time from your account. You keep Premium until the end of the year you have paid for, and you keep your certificates. If you upgrade, your progress stays as it is and every Premium course opens straight away.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and are never stored by UT Training.
